St. Johns RIVERKEEPER is a privately-funded, independent, and trusted voice for the St. Johns River and the public to whom it belongs. In advance of the organization’s 20th anniversary, SJRK engaged Wingard to refresh its image and digital presence to better reflect its decades of experience and service.
The brand evolution started with a refreshed color palette and refined logo featuring the organization’s longtime mascot, the kingfisher: a bird known for its watchful eye. We then facilitated a comprehensive messaging analysis to reveal new ways of talking about the organization and its impact. These efforts merged with a complete overhaul of the website’s design and functionality. The new website integrates with SJRK’s fundraising CRM and allows staff to build custom pages as necessary; for site visitors, it provides an intuitive user experience, dynamic media, an interactive events calendar, a simplified membership section, and a map that highlights specific environmental issues impacting various river basins.
