West Palm Beach-based Intercoastal Brands came to Wingard looking to develop the visual identity and packaging for a new venture, Craft House Bakery. We were tasked with creating a brand identity for a Brooklyn-based bakery that produced handcrafted babka by the slice. The goal was to make a grab-and-go version of the traditional loaf-sized pastry.
We delivered a visual concept that would stand out to consumers on the shelves and evoke a sense of handcrafted quality. The logo’s font looks textured and hand-drawn; it was paired with packaging that contrasted the handwritten look with a clean, minimal design boasting large color fields and diagonals. The end result was a product that stands out for the lovers of babka and those new to the tasty treat.
