Wingard, a Jacksonville-based advertising agency formerly known as Wingard Creative, today debuted its new name and website (WeAreWingard.com) in celebration of the company’s 10th anniversary.

Wingard also announced the appointment of Russell Baker as an equity partner and Chief Strategy Officer. The company will relocate from its current office in the Raymond James Building to the SunTrust Tower this summer.

“When I started this company in 2008, my goal was to provide creative services for small businesses and nonprofit organizations, without the overhead of a large agency,” said David Wingard, Founder and Chief Creative Officer. “As a result of our team’s growth, we are able to provide comprehensive design, communications and strategy support for clients here in Jacksonville and around the country. While delivering creative solutions will remain a core element of our partnership mentality, we are no longer limited to graphic design and branding services. Our new name reflects that evolution while retaining the brand equity we’ve built over the past decade.”

Russell Baker joined the company as a brand strategist in October 2016. In his new role, he oversees all marketing and communications strategy for the company’s clients. Additionally, he leads business development efforts with an emphasis on the company’s core specialties: arts and entertainment organizations, restaurants and retail brands and consumer packaged goods. Prior to joining Wingard, Baker held various marketing leadership roles at The Coca-Cola Company in Atlanta, Ga.

Wingard’s 16-person team will relocate to a 5,925-square-foot office on the 15th floor of the SunTrust Tower July 1, 2018. Scott Henley of Newmark Grubb | Phoenix Realty Group represented Wingard in the transaction; Chuck Diebel and Lisa McLatchey of Colliers International Northeast Florida represented the landlord.
