Position Details
- Front-end WordPress Developer
- Local and remote candidates considered (US residents only)

Job Duties
- Develop custom website designs using WordPress and page builder plugins such as Divi or Elementor
- Assist in developing new features for existing WordPress sites
- Create and update front-end stylesheets
- Maintain existing WordPress sites, including updating themes and plugins
- Handle client development updates to existing sites, including adding posts and pages, updating content, adding tracking codes and more
- Understand client goals and collaborate with UI/UX designer to create responsive, mobile-first websites
- Design and develop landing pages
- Problem solve and troubleshoot issues with WordPress, plugins, and other components as they arise
- Working with internal teams to keep projects on time and on budget
Qualifications
- Portfolio or recent examples of your work
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Willingness to learn
- 1+ years experience creating and updating WordPress themes
- Familiarity with HTML and CSS
- Good understanding of responsive web design and a good design aesthetic
- Comfortable building WordPress sites using purchased themes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated and highly organized team player with great time management
- Proficient in Mac computer systems
- Experience with Advanced Custom Fields plugin a plus
- Experience with JavaScript frameworks, such as AngularJS and React, a plus
- Able to start working immediately
